What To Expect
Once your first appointment is scheduled, we’ll send you a welcome email with everything you need to get started, including a link to complete your new patient forms online before you arrive. From there, our team will take the time to answer your questions, explain your care, and make sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
Whether you’re right on schedule with your dental care or it’s been a while, there’s no judgment here. We treat our patients like family and want you to feel relaxed, informed, and confident in your care.
Insurance
Sawtooth Dental is contracted with Delta Dental as a Premier Provider. We can also bill most out-of-network insurance companies as a courtesy to our patients. If you’d like a better idea of what your treatment may cost, we’re happy to provide an estimate or submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance upon request.
Financing Options
While we don’t offer in-house payment plans, we do accept CareCredit, including a six-month, 0% interest financing option. Our team is happy to help answer questions about payment before treatment so you know what to expect.
Paying Your Balance
For patients using insurance, we’ll send you a secure text-to-pay link once your insurance has processed your claim. You can use the link to pay your remaining balance online. Prefer another option? You can also request a paper statement, pay by phone, or drop off a check at the office.

After scheduling, you’ll receive a welcome email with a link to complete six registration forms online. Filling these out before your visit helps us get everything ready for your appointment.

You can pay by cash or card in person at our office or online through our text-to-pay system. If you prefer a paper statement, just let us know and we’re happy to provide one. Sawtooth Dental also accepts CareCredit, including a six-month, 0% interest financing option.

We want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your visit. Depending on your treatment and individual needs, there are options available to help manage discomfort or dental anxiety. During dental treatment and deep cleanings, we use local anesthetic so any procedure is pain free. For nerves, we offer Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) in office or oral sedation medication prescribed by the dentist. Discuss with our providers or call the office to decide what options may be right for you.
-
You will first be greeted by one of our amazing dental assistants and discuss if there are any concerns. Then diagnostic X-ray imaging and Intraoral scanning will be completed for the doctors to preform a thorough and complete evaluation of your teeth and address any concerns. Finally Dr. Kat or Dr. Rob will discuss treatment if needed and kindly answer any and all questions at this time. You will then finish with our friendly front office team to go over treatment estimates and scheduling.
Typically, hygiene appointments will be scheduled separately so that we can prescribe the appropriate amount of time for your cleaning. Can’t wait to meet you!

We know your time is important and understand that things come up, however we kindly require a minimum of 2 business days notice for any schedule changes.

When coming in for your cleaning, we got you covered to get the cleanest teeth in town! Our office uses the finest Swiss technology for all hygiene visits to give each patient the highest quality of care.
